Pay for your used or reconditioned engine over several instalments, with no change to your warranty or your delivery.

Replacing an engine is an expense you cannot plan for. It comes at the worst moment, and it often runs into thousands of euros. This is why Motro France lets you pay for your engine in instalments, at checkout, with no credit application to assemble and no documents to post.

The principle is simple: you choose your engine, an adviser confirms the quote with you, and you decide at checkout whether to pay in one go or in instalments. The price of the engine does not change, neither does the commercial warranty, and the dispatch time stays the same.

How it works, step by step

Four steps, from finding the engine to paying the first instalment.

    Choosing the engine

    You identify your vehicle by its number plate, its chassis number (VIN) or the engine code. Our experts confirm compatibility and availability within 24 hours.

  2. 02

    Confirming the quote with an adviser

    An adviser calls you to settle the details: exact engine reference, chosen warranty term, delivery address. The quote is then emailed to you with a secure payment link.

  3. 03

    Choosing how to pay

    At checkout, the secure Stripe payment page shows the available methods: card in one payment, or instalments. You choose at that point, not before.

  4. 04

    Instant decision

    The decision comes through in seconds. Once the first instalment is paid, your order goes into preparation and the engine ships within the usual timescale.

Legal framework and terms of sale

Paying in instalments changes none of the terms of your order.

What instalment payment does not change

Choosing to pay in instalments is a choice of payment method. It has no effect on the mutual obligations set out in the Terms and Conditions of Sale of MOTRO SAS, Version 1, in force from 1 July 2026. In particular:

  • Pallet delivery. The shipping arrangements and the obligation to inspect the goods on arrival in the driver's presence are unchanged (article 5 of the T&Cs).
  • Commercial warranty. The term taken out, of 3, 6, 12, 18 or 24 months as stated on the quote and the invoice, applies identically. Absent any express mention, it is twelve (12) months. It starts on the dispatch date, whatever the state of the instalment plan (article 7.2).
  • Retention of title. The engine remains the property of MOTRO SAS until the instalment plan is paid in full, not until the first instalment is paid (article 4.3).
  • Right of withdrawal. Its scope and return conditions are unchanged (article 6).

Each instalment option is provided by a third-party bank and governed by its own terms, separate from those of MOTRO SAS. Approval rests solely with that institution; a refusal does not cancel the order, which can still be paid by card or bank transfer.
